We are all scared of something in life

We could be scared of leaving the house šŸ

We could be scared of going to the gym šŸ‹šŸ¼ā€ā™€ļø

Or you could be scared of the water šŸ’§

For me my greatest fear I can remember is being underwater and not being able to get out.

Which as a Royal Marines commando was a test that had to be passed to move on to the next phase of training.

The tests that involved water were the dunker drills. A simulated helicopter šŸš crash in water that you had to get out of in various conditions

And the sheep dip on one of the commando tests. A tunnel completely submerged in water that you get pushed and pulled through.

So how did I manage to over come these fears and progress?

I knew that on the opposite side of my fear was the green beret, something I had wanted since I was 9 years old.

So yes my fears were tough but my willingness to get past it and succeed was greater.

In your fitness journeys we all have fear of failing or not quite hitting the mark we want.

BUT IF WE DONT TRY WE WILL NEVER KNOW
